Group exhibition at the Georgetown Art Center, opens June 1, 6-8PM
I’m pleased to announce that this summer, I will be showing several large works at the “Nosotros” exhibit at the Georgetown Art Center in historic Georgetown, Texas! In addition to the opening on June 1, 2019, there will be a closing reception and Blessing of the Art on June 29, 2019. If you’re in the area or just driving through, I would love it if you would stop by and see my work and the work of 25+ artists in this show. In addition to the exhibition, there is a monthlong calendar of cultural events, food, art, and live music; see the poster below for a complete listing or visit Georgetown Art Center’s website for more information. ABOUT THE EXHIBIT: The 2019 Nosotros exhibit is a statewide juried art exhibit, organized by Georgetown Art Works. Nosotros’ means ‘us’ in Spanish. This exhibition will feature celebrations and reflections on the land and culture of South America, Central America, the Caribbean, Mexico and the American Southwest. Georgetown Art Works (Georgetown Art Center) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the arts in the City of Georgetown, Texas. The Nosotros exhibit and month of cultural events are made possible through a grant from the City of Georgetown Arts and Culture Board.
